Meet Ben
Ben was first elected to the Nova Scotia Legislature in June 2013 and was re-elected in 2017 and 2021. Ben was appointed to cabinet in 2021 as Minister of the Public Service Commission. Ben is heavily involved in his community and actively volunteers as a coach for youth soccer and hockey.

Hammonds Plains—Lucasville
Hammonds Plains—Lucasville is a fast growing corner of the Halifax Regional Municipality. Lucasville and Upper Hammonds Plains specifically play an important role in our history as home to one of our early African-Nova Scotian settlements. Our district is made up of many communities and subdivisions and is bordered by McCabe Lake, Larry Uteck, the 102 and the 103 highways.
